SHIRLEY ANN NELSON, 87, of Elk Horn, died Wednesday, Oct. 22nd, 2025, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral services for SHIRLEY NELSON will be held 2-pm Monday, Oct. 27th, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimballton. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.
Visitation at the funeral home is on Sunday, Oct. 26th, from 5-until 7-pm.
Burial is in the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery at Elk Horn (IA).

Her husband – Martin Nelson, of Elk Horn.
Her sons – Dean (Kathy) Nelson, and Bruce (Patty) Nelson, all of Atlantic.
Her daughter – Brenda Nelson (with Tony Hough), of Elk Horn.
Her sister – Harriet Campbell, of Exira.
6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; her Danish exchange granddaughter, Johanne Lyager; other family members and friends.
