ROYBERT ‘BERT’ LEE ROSE, age 73, of Atlantic, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. A memorial service for BERT ROSE will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July, 25, 2026, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
A luncheon followed in the community room of the funeral home.
A public visitation with the family will prior to the memorial service starting at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.

His wife – Kathie Rose, of Atlantic;
His sons – Scott (Charis) Rose, of Nebraska City; David (Trina) Rose, and Nathan Rose, all of Atlantic, as well as Jeremy (Jill) of Dakota Dunes,
His daughters – Kari (Brian) Hansen, of Anita, and Jessica (Kevin) Newman, of Atlantic.
