Funeral services for RODNEY “ROD” LINN PETERSEN, SR. will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Exira Community Center. Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic is handling the arrangements..
Public visitation with the family will be held on Monday, October 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Exira Community Center.
Committal will follow the service at Hamlin Lutheran Cemetery in Hamlin, IA. A luncheon will be held back at the Exira Community Center after the burial.
Memorials may be directed to the Rod Petersen Family; they will be designated at a later date in Memory of Rod. Cards may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022. Funeral services are entrusted with Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic.
