RAYMOND “Ray” CURTIS SCHELLENBERG, 92, of Anita, died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at his residence in Anita. Funeral services for RAY SCHELLENBERG will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Anita United Congregational Church of Christ in Anita. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Anita has the arrangements.
Public visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Anita.
Committal is at the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita. A luncheon will be held following the committal in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.
Memorials may be directed to the Schellenberg Family to be designated at a later date in Ray’s name. They may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.

His daughters – Susan Schellenberg, of Cedar Rapids, and Sandra Schrieber, of Emmetsburg.
His son – Lyle Schellenberg, of Cedar Rapids.
Two step- daughters: Patti Schobert, and Jacki Rempel.
Two step-sons: Mark Hall, and Matthew Hall.
3 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as his step-grandchildren.
