PEGGY JEAN BRUE, 89, of Council Bluffs, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Hansen House in Council Bluffs. A Memorial Service for PEGGY BRUE will be held 11-a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Irwin United Methodist Church (in Irwin, IA). Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.
Visitation at the Irwin United Methodist Church is in Thursday, from 10-until 11-a.m.
Burial is in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Irwin.

Her sons – Kurt (Linda) Brue, of Omaha, and Jay (Mary) Brue, of Blair, NE.
Her sister – Clarice (Ron) Rubek, of Ankeny (IA).
Her brother – Gary (Daneen) Campbell, of Waterloo, IA.
3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
