NANCY KAY PETERSEN, 74, of Atlantic [& formerly of Audubon], died June 11, 2026, at Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic. Funeral services for NANCY PETERSEN will be held 10-a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
A luncheon will follow the services at the funeral home, with a Committal Service at 1-p.m. in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon.
Memorials in her name may be directed to the Audubon and Rescue Department, and sent in care of the funeral home at P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA, 50022.

Her daughters – Tonya (Mike) McNulty, of Clive; Margo Wolfe, of Atlantic, and Amanda Griswold, of Hastings, NE.
Her stepdaughters – Lisa (Dick) Schnackel, of Council Bluffs; Amy (Wade) Jessen, of Anita, and Cindy (Steve) Brownsberger, of Adel.
7 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Sue Duvall.
