LaVERNE LEROY JENSEN, 84, of Panora (formerly of Audubon), died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at The New Homestead in Guthrie Center. Funeral services for LaVERNE JENSEN will be held at 10-a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Audubon. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon has the arrangements
A family visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 4 pm until 6 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon.
Burial will follow the funeral service on Monday, at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. A reception will take place following the committal service at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Memorials can be made to the family and will be designated at a later date.

His wife – Janice.
His children – Craig (Julie), of De Soto; Gary (Linda), of Carroll; Brian (Brandi), of Earlham; Jeff Anderson, and Loni Anderson.
His sister – Dianne (Wesley) Furne.
14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; His in-laws, and other relatives.
