KAREN CASS, 86, of Fontanelle, died Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Funeral services for KAREN CASS will be held 10:30-a.m. Wednesday, May 27th (2026), the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, May 26th, from 2-until 7-p.m., with the family greeting friends from 5-until 7-p.m.
Burial is in the Fontanelle Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home following the burial.
Memorials may be directed to the Karen Cass Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
KAREN CASS is survived by:
Her husband – Dean Cass, of Fontanelle.
Her daughter – Cynthia (Steven) Burg, of Murray, NE.
Her sons – Mikeal (Tamela) Cass, of Atlantic, and Patrick (Andrea) Cass, of Fontanelle.
Her brothers – David (Linda) Frank, of Yuma, CO., and Dennis (Debbie) Frank, of Fontanelle.
Her sister – Kayleen Whittlesey, of Cedar Rapids, IA.
6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Betty Weinheimer of Fontanelle; other relatives and friends.
