JOANNE LIPPOLD SCHNACKEL, formerly of Walnut, died Jan. 29, 2026, in Montana. A Celebration of Life for JOANNE LIPPOLD SCHNACKEL will be held 10-a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Walnut (IA) Community Center. The family is handling the arrangements.
A lunch and visitation with family will follow the Celebration of Life, beginning at 11:30 a.m., Saturday.
All who knew her are welcome to attend and share memories with family and friends.

Her sons – Bruce (Susan) Lippold, of Indianapolis, IN, and Reno (Mi Ae) Lippold, of Sioux City.
Her brother – Eldon “Butch” Popp, of Walnut.
3 grandchildren; sisters-in-law; and other relatives.
