JENS CHRISTIAN BRUUN, 90, of Ankeny (An Audubon native), died Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at the StoryPoint Senior Living facility in Ankeny. A Public visitation with the family of JENS BRUUN will be held June 12th from 10-until 11-a.m. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon.
A graveside service will follow the visitation at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon on June 12th.
Memorials may be directed to the Jens Bruun Family. They will be designated at a later date and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 201, Audubon, IA 50025.

His daughter – Amy Bruun, of Grimes.
His sons – James Bruun, of Council Bluffs, and Tom Bruun, of Ankeny.
4 grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives.
