DOYLE HANS FREDERICK MADSEN, 70, of Elk Horn (an Audubon native), died Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn. A Celebration of Life service for DOYLE MADSEN will be held at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Exira on April 18th, beginning at 10-a.m.
The family will greet friends following the service and until 12:00 p.m. on April 18th

His son – Joshua Doyle Madsen.
His sisters – Brenda Cherrill Parker; Nancy Kathryn Cascardo, Connie Sofie and husband Robert Hempstead, Kelly Monroe Madsen
His brothers – Robert Lee and wife Janet Madsen, Douglas Edward and wife Deborah Madsen, Mark Kent Madsen.
2 granddaughters; other relatives, and dear friends.
