DIXIE SUE PEDERSEN, 75, of Atlantic, died Thursday, July 23, 2026 at CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. A Celebration of Life for DIXIE PEDERSEN will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
A Visitation with the family present will begin at 1:00 p.m., and a social gathering to following the service at the funeral home’s community room. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate Dixie’s life.

Her children – Troy and Amy Pedersen, of Treynor; Corby and Amy Pedersen, of New Castle, Colorado; Nichole and Nick Kinney, of Omaha, Nebraska; and Tiffany and Nate Droessler, of Galena, Illinois.
