DENNIS DEAN HEMPHILL, 79, of Omaha (a Griswold native), died April 5, 2026 at Lakeside Village. Graveside services for DENNIS HEMPHILL will be held 3-p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Oakland. Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is assisting the family.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Friday from 5:30-until 7:30-p.m. at the Griswold Community Building (Griswold, IA).

His wife – Ruth.
His daughters – Peggy (John) Henry, of Plattsmouth, NE, and Leslie (Craig) Weaver, of Overland Park, KS.
5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
