CHARLES “CHUCK” STANLEY, 88, of rural Greenfield, died April 9, 2026, at the Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield. Graveside services for CHUCK STANLEY will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, on Wednesday, April 29th, beginning at 9:30-a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Greenfield, at 11-a.m. on April 29th. Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.
Full military honors will be conducted by the Fontanelle American Legion Carlson Post No. 247 and Greenfield American Legion Head-Endres Post No. 265 and V.F.W. Post No. 5357 and the Army Funeral Honor Guard.
A luncheon will immediately follow the Celebration of Life service at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
Memorials may be directed to the Chuck Stanley Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

His son – Larry Stanley, of Gresham, OR.
His step-son: Dr. Robert (Holly) Pippin, of Weatherford, OK.
His brother – Jim (Kathy) Stanley.
His sister – Helen Gilbert.
3 grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends.
