Charles (Chuck) Gordon Reed, Jr., 72, of Oakland, died Friday, April 10, 2026, at the UNMC in Omaha. A Funeral Service for CHUCK REED, Jr., will be held 11-a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Oakland United Methodist Church. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.
Visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the service (10-until 11-a.m., Tuesday); An open visitation will be held at Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland on Monday, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The family will not be present at any specific time.
Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Oakland.
Memorials in his name are suggested to Riverside Youth Sports or the Riverside Booster Club.

His children – Doug (Camber)Reed, of Carson; Jodi Reed (& Tim Minor), of Council Bluffs; Becki (Jeff) Knapp, of Nodaway; and Andy (Susan) Reed, of Oakland.
His brothers – Stan Reed, and Phil (Denise) Reed, all of Oakland, and Brad (Monica) Reed, of Omaha, NE.
8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, ; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
