CHARLENE MARTHA McLAUGHLIN, 97, of Audubon, died Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Friendship Home in Audubon. Funeral services for CHARLENE McLAUGHLIN will be held 2-p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Audubon. Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Audubon has the arrangements.
Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, from 1-until 2-p.m.
Interment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon.
A luncheon will be held following the interment in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be directed to the McLaughlin Family. They will be designated at a later date in memory of Charlene, and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 201, Audubon, IA 50025.
CHARLENE McLAUGHLIN is survived by:
Her sons – Mike (Cindy) McLaughlin; Dave (Donna) McLaughlin, and Mark (Theresa) McLaughlin.
Her daughters – Mary (Greg) Lamka; and Connie Nihsen.
Her sister – Karen Kardell.
13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; other relatives, and many beloved friends.
