BETTY PLACZEK, 93, of Atlantic passed away Friday, September 26, 2026, at Adel Acres in Adel. Mass of Christian Burial for BETTY PLACZEK will be Celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic. Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic is handling the arrangements.
Public visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
Interment will take place following the Mass at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
A reception will take place following the interment in the Reception Hall of the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
