Des Moines, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Corrections (DOC) reports 60-year-old Eric Tyrone Daugherty, Sr., failed to return to the Fort Des Moines Work Release Facility as required on Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
Daugherty Sr. is serving time for Robbery 2nd in Polk County, along with additional convictions for Harassment, Stalking, and Domestic Abuse.
Daugherty Sr. is a black male who stands 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs 199-lbs. He was admitted to the work release facility on October 20th, 2025.
The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking assistance from the public in locating Daugherty Sr. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
