(Glenwood, IA) – In an update to a report issued last week, the Mills County Sheriff’s Office today (Tue., May 26th), said an investigation into an incident on May 17th, resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Aaron McDaniel, from Pacific Junction, on felony charges that include: Attempted Murder (Class B Felony); Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault While Participating in a Felony – both Class D Felony offenses.
Authorities say at around 8:25-p.m. May 17th, the Mills County 911 Communication Center received a 911 call of two males involved in a physical altercation and allegedly shooting at one another. Deputies were immediately dispatched to the scene and advised that one of the suspects had fled in a vehicle. The offender was identified as Aaron McDaniel.
During the investigation, deputies determined that Aaron McDaniel had been involved in a physical altercation with his brother, Christopher McDaniel. Aaron McDaniel was later arrested in Sarpy County, Nebraska. After waiving extradition Aaron McDaniel was transported to the Mills County Jail, where he is currently being held pending trial.
