(Ankeny, IA) – A motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in northern Polk County resulted in two people from Missouri being transported to a hospital. The Iowa State Patrol reports a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 37-year-old Brian Christopher Geary was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 near mile-marker 92 at around 3 p.m., when the rear tire blew out.
The cycle went out of control and slid onto the outside shoulder of the road. Geary, and his passenger, 99-year-old Ashley Nicole Thompson, both of Kansas City, MO., were transported by Ankeny EMS to Methodist Hospital.
There was no immediate report on their conditions.
