(Stuart, IA) – Officials with the Stuart Police Department report that for the second time in 3 months, the local Subway Store was robbed, Thursday. The incident at the store in the 100 block of SE 7th Street in Stuart, occurred at around 3:19-p.m. It’s the same Subway restaurant that was robbed on February 4th, 2026.
Officers arrived on scene within approximately three minutes of the 911 call and began investigating the incident. No injuries were reported. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a gray Toyota RAV4, possibly a 2018-2025 model year, displaying no license plates. The vehicle was observed traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 from Stuart. The investigation remains active and ongoing. No additional information will be released at this time.
