(Guthrie Center, IA) – The Guthrie County Engineer’s Office reports a short stretch of County Highway P28 / Wagon Road ,will be closed between 310th St. and 315th Rd, south of Nation’s Bridge Park, starting Tuesday, May 5. The road is expected to remain closed through the weekend, weather permitting.
A marked detour will be in place using adjacent gravel roads. If you travel this route regularly, plan ahead and give yourself a little extra time. Property owners in the area will still have access, though there may be brief delays while work is underway. Crews will be working on the road’s sub-grade in this area as part of the prep work for a larger highway rehabilitation project coming later this month.
