Teen killed in a single-vehicle western IA crash

(Harrison County, IA) – A single-vehicle accident Thursday morning (June 11th) east of Woodbine, resulted in the death of a teenager. The Iowa State Patrol reports a 15-year-old from Woodbine was driving a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound on Tama Trail at a high rate of speed, when the vehicle entered the intersection with 194th St./F-32, and struck the embankment north of the intersection. The crash happened at around 9:10-a.m., Thursday.

The teen died as the scene. They were not wearing a seat belt. The persons name was not immediately released.
