(Mount Ayr, IA) — A Ringgold County man was arrested Thursday afternoon, on an outstanding warrant for allegedly violating a protective order. According to the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office, 74-year-old Steven Eugene Lowman, Sr., of Mount Ayr, was arrested at around 3:15 p.m. on the warrant for violation of a civil protective order. Lowman was being held without bond in the Ringgold County Jail, pending an appearance before a magistrate.
