(Radio Iowa) – Heavy rains and thunderstorms hit portions of Iowa overnight prompting flash flood warnings in a portion of central Iowa. National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Ansorge.
Ansorge on where the heaviest rain was reported.
Ansorge says there could be another round of storms later today.
Ansorge says the storms should help break the heat wave for a large portion of Iowa.
