(Harlan, IA) – The Shelby County Sheriff reports five arrests took place this past week, four of those arrested were taken into custody on Monday, June 15th. They include:
- 36-year-old Stephanie Lynn Bird, of Harlan, who was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3rd or subsequent offense, Keeping a vehicle or Premise for Controlled Substance Abuse, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $7,300.
- 48-year-old Jeremy Lloyd Smith, of Defiance, was arrested Monday in Shelby Conty, for Arson in the 3rd Degree, and Arson – 3rd Degree/Hate Crime. The charges stem from an incident that occurred April 4th.
- 57-year-old David Lee Stout, of Harlan, was arrested June 15th for Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3rd or subsequent offense. And,
- 34-year-old Zachery Dillon Benedict, of Portsmouth, was arrested June 15th for Possession of Marijuana, Keeping a vehicle or premise for Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Harrassment – 3rd Degree.
On Tuesday, June 16th, 38-year-old Troy David Garrison-Romick was arrested in Shelby Count for Domestic Abuse Assault – 3rd or subsequent offense. His bond was set at $10,000.
