(Red Oak, IA) – Police in Red Oak are asking for the public’s assistance in trying to track down those who are responsible for damage to the City’s Levee. In a post on social media, police said “The stupidity behind this affects more than those involved in committing the crime, it affects the entire city and those within the flood plain. If the Corp of Engineers were to deem the structural integrity of the levee as jeopardized, a lot of individuals are going to be affected and cost them a lot of $$$$$.”
