(Red Oak, IA) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports a Red Oak man was arrested Wednesday (July 1st), on a Class- D felony charge of Election Misconduct in the 1st Degree. 36-year-old Joseph Christopher Norris‘s arrest followed an investigation into an incident that occurred in November, 2024.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Iowa Attorney General’s Office, which determined what charges would be filed.
Joseph Norris was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
