CLARINDA, IOWA, August 17, 2026: The Page County Attorney’s Office announced today that 41-year-old Alex Jeremy Hansen of Clarinda, Iowa, was revoked from his probation in three felony cases after a contested probation revocation hearing and sentenced to an indeterminate prison sentence of up to twenty years at the Iowa Department of Corrections.
Hansen entered pleas of guilty to charges of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, Eluding at Speeds over 25 mph, and Possession of a Firearm by a Domestic Abuse Offender on March 26, 2024. The Defendant was placed on probation and received four suspended 5-year prison sentences. On August 17, 2026, court found that the Defendant violated his probation by bringing drugs into the inpatient drug treatment facility he attended, continuing to use controlled substances while on probation, and assaulting two law enforcement officers while being held at the Page County Jail.
The charges in Hansen’s cases were investigated by the Clarinda Police Department and prosecuted by the Page County Attorney’s Office.
