(Council Bluffs, IA) – The Council Bluffs Police Department has released information with regard to availability of parking for this week’s annual Summerfest Celebration. The City of Council Bluffs will be host the event on Friday, June 5th, beginning at 6-p.m. The Summerfest celebration take place at Tom Hanafan Park.
Authorities say it is required that attendees park at one of three locations: Harrah’s Casino North Lot; Lot D near the CHI Center in Omaha, or, the parking garage on site.
If using the parking garage be prepared to wait in traffic for an extended period of time. Parking in the residential area adjacent to the park is highly discouraged. Illegally parked vehicles or vehicles creating traffic hazards will be towed at owner’s expense.
