Page County Attorney’s report for the week of April 6, 2026

(Clarinda, IA) – The Page County Attorney’s Office has released a report on Page County District Court case outcomes, for the week of April 6, 2026.

Page County Attorney James L. Varley says 37-year-old Andrew Travis Gaunt, of Nodaway (IA) appeared with counsel and admitted to violating the terms and conditions of his probation. In lieu of revoking his probation, Gaunt was found to be in Contempt, and sentenced to seven-days in jail in each case. His sentenced will be served concurrently and Gaunt will remain on probation. He was ordered to pay court costs, and court-appointed attorney fees.

And, 50-year-old Misty Marie Herring, of Villisca, appeared with counsel in Page County District Court, and pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana/1st offense. Herring was fined $420 plus surcharges.
