DELAWARE COUNTY, Iowa – A 59-year-old woman from Colesburg, in northeast Iowa, was flown by helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospital, Thursday afternoon, after she was run over by a 2004 Toyota Highlander SUV being driven by a 14-year-old male.
Iowa State Patrol reports the incident happened around 3:38 p.m. in the front yard of a home at 420 S. Franklin Street, in Colesburg. The woman was taken to the Regional Medical Center in Manchester before being airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
