On 09/05/26, at approximately 9:30 PM, officers were dispatched to the 2700 Block of 5th Ave for a motorcycle vs. SUV accident. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to UNMC by the Council Bluffs Fire Department, where he was pronounced deceased. The Council Bluffs Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the accident. At this time, the deceased’s name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
