(Delaware County, IA) – A man from eastern Iowa was injured when his motorcycle crashed Friday evening near Dyersville. The Iowa State Patrol reports 68-year-old Michael Allen Wieland, of Alburnett, was riding a 2024 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on 332nd Avenue in Delaware County, when the cycle left the road at around 6:35-p.m.
The motorcycle entered the west ditch and struck a group of trees. Wieland was transported from the scene by ambulance to a hospital in Dubuque.
