Montgomery County, Iowa — Officials in Montgomery County, today (Monday) said they were pleased to announce that the courthouse elevator has officially passed its final inspection and is now fully operational.
The inspection was completed late this (Monday) morning, and the Schumacher Elevator Company crew has finished all final touches to bring the project to completion.
The courthouse now has a brand‑new, fully functional elevator available for public use. This modernization project improves safety, accessibility, and reliability for all who visit or work in the courthouse.
