Man from Creston arrested on drug charges in Ringgold County

(Mount Ayr, IA) – Officials with the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office report a man from Union County was arrested Thursday night on three drug-related charges. 63-year-old Paul Duane Lauer, of Creston, was arrested at around 10:20-p.m., on charges that include: Possession of a Controlled Substance/Methamphetamine – 3rd offense (A Class D Felony); PCS/Marijuana – 3rd or subsequent offense (An Aggravated Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (A Simple Misdemeanor).

Lauer was being held in the Ringgold County Jail on a $7,300 cash-only bond.
