Republican candidate for Iowa Governor Zach Lahn made a stop in Atlantic Tuesday and held a town hall event. Lahn touched on a number of topics, saying that his sole focus is on becoming governor to create a better future for the state.
Lahn said one of the ways to do that is to make schools a top priority.
Lahn said it’s important to protect the culture of the state.
As for the economy, Lahn says Iowa needs to give young people a reason to come back and help grow the Iowa economy.
Lahn said ultimately, he wants to make Iowa the best place to thrive.
Lahn is faces Democrat Rob Sand in the November general election to replace Governor Kim Reynolds, who chose not to seek another term.
