A head-on collision in Audubon County on Sunday, October 25th left one person hospitalized. State Patrol Troopers report 26 year old Timothy Asmus of Audubon was taken by Elk Horn Rescue to the Audubon County Memorial Hospital with what were suspected to be serious injuries.
The report states that Asmus was southbound on Falcon Avenue at 6:18 pm in a 2010 Chevy Silverado K2500 and collided just south of Hillcrest, south of 260th Street with a northbound John Deere combine operated by 74 year old David Lee Madsen of Audubon. Madsen was reportedly not injured.
Troopers were assisted by officials from Audubon, Cass and Shelby Counties.
