A pilot was able to walk away without injury Wednesday after making an emergency landing on a Guthrie County road. Guthrie County Sheriff’s Officials said that Wednesday afternoon a single-engine plane experienced engine trouble while flying toward the Guthrie Center airport.
The unidentified pilot was able to walk away from the landing.
The plane had minor damage and ended up in the ditch.
Highway 44 was closed for about 40 minutes Wednesday evening so the plane could be moved from the ditch.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigaing..
