Atlantic native Darrian Schwenke doesn’t mind walking in the heat. In fact, he’s carrying his golf clubs on his back as he walks from the Missouri River to the Mississippi River to raise awareness for veterans.
Darrian just started on September first and is chronicling his journey.
Darrian grew up in Atlantic and his path took him into the military.
The 375 mile journey will have him playing some golf as well as carrying his clubs during his ruck march. But, why golf?
