(Red Oak) – Police in Red Oak, this (Friday) morning arrested a man on an assault charge. According to the Police report, 40-year-old Jacob Wayne Dykes-Vargas, of Red Oak, was at around 6:30-a.m. In the 100 block of East Prospect Street, for Domestic Abuse Assault with a Dangerous Weapon – 1st offense (an aggravated misdemeanor).
Dykes-Vargas was being held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail, pending his initial court appearance.
