New Cass Health CEO Looks to the Future

Jonathan Moe recently began his new opportunity as the Chief Executive Officer at Cass Health. Moe replaces the retiring Brett Altman, who announced earlier this year that he was stepping down from the leadership role. Moe had been COO in Shenandoah and got to know Altman, who reached out to let him know of the opening. Moe says the reputation of Cass Health made it attractive to him.

Moe is a South Dakota native and says he’s only lived in rural communities. He was most recently the CEO of Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. Moe says the Cass Health slogan, “Neighbors Caring for Neighbors spoke to him.

Moe says that despite being in a smaller, rural community, Cass Health has a more regional appeal.

In addition to having quality facilities and staff, Moe says it’s important to be able to provide services in a timely fashion.

Moe and his wife Ashley, who is the head nurse at Atlantic Community Schools, have moved to Atlantic and he says they are excited to get more involved in the community.
