On August 31st around 11:45 AM, Montgomery County Deputies received a call of a white Dodge Durango driving erratically eastbound HWY 34 near the Mills/Montgomery County line. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and Eric Shoemaker, 42, from Council Bluffs, IA, was taken into custody for driving while revoked. Shoemaker was transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he was held on $1,000 Bond. Shoemaker was cited for Use of Electronic Communication Device and Failure to Provide Proof of financial liability.
On August 31st around 2:30 PM, Montgomery County Deputies arrested 44 year old Ryan Welfekuhl of Council Bluffs on an active Pottawattamie County Warrant. Wulfekuhl was charged with failure to appear on an original charge of Felony Forgery. Wulfekuhl is being held on $5,000 Cash Bond.
