Josh Turek held a Town Hall meeting this morning -(11-2-26) Josh Turek is the Democratic nominee for the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Iowa, running to replace retiring Senator Joni Ernst.
Turek was in Harlan this morning and spoke in front of a full house at Milk and Honey. Turek was born in Council Bluffs and currently lives there with his wife. He is currently a member of the Iowa House of Representatives in District 20.
He is running against Ashley Hinson for US Senate.
Before Getting to his main talking points of the meeting Turek reminisced on an event he held at Milk and Honey at the start of his campaign, saying it was the point when he knew that Iowa was ready for a change.
The last time Iowa voted a Democrat into the senate was in 2008 when Tom Harkin won over Christopher Reed.
