Atlantic, IA — Healthy Cass County will host an upcoming community meeting on May 11th at noon at the Cass County Community Center. Staff from Thrive Iowa of Cass County will lead a discussion on collective impact and how community partners are working together to move families from crisis to stability and beyond.
This work aligns with Iowa’s Health Improvement Plan, specifically State Priority Focus Area 1.3: Non-Traditional Delivery of Services, which emphasizes expanding behavioral health programming in rural communities through innovative partnerships.
Cass Health serves as the backbone organization for Thrive Iowa of Cass County and drives the Cass County Thrive Alliance toward supporting families with guidance needed to successfully navigate complex systems.
Through Thrive, families are paired with a dedicated navigator who provides hands-on support—helping schedule and attend appointments, identify appropriate services, and offer consistent encouragement throughout the process. The goal is to move families from crisis to stabilization, and ultimately toward long-term success and impactful careers.
An additional strength of the program is its collaborative approach. Thrive has implemented a system that allows partner organizations and service providers to communicate regularly, ensuring families receive coordinated, comprehensive care without gaps or duplication of services.
As part of this Healthy Cass meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet the new Thrive navigators and coordinator
- Learn about the progress and trends being seen early
- Gain insight into how collaborative, community-based approaches are improving outcomes in Cass County
- Explore ways to partner and support families on their journey from crisis to careers
