The harvest didn’t advance much last week as farmers waited for the fields to dry out.
The U-S-D-A report shows only one day suitable for field work. Both the corn and soybean harvests each moved up two percent from last week. The corn harvest is now at seven percent completed and is 13 percent behind the five-year average. Five percent of the soybeans have been harvested, which is 33 percentage points behind the five-year average.
