As the 2026 growing season comes to a close, the Grow Another Row program is inviting Cass County residents to share their experiences and feedback through a community survey. The information gathered will help guide improvements and planning for the 2027 season.
Grow Another Row is a community-driven initiative that encourages local gardeners and growers to share their extra produce with neighbors through free, accessible produce stands located throughout Cass County. During the 2026 growing season, 11 stands were available across the county, helping connect residents with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

The survey is open to anyone who interacted with the program this year, including individuals who donated produce, visited a stand, volunteered, hosted a stand, or participated in other program activities. Community members are encouraged to share how they used the stands, what worked well, and what improvements they would like to see in the future.
Grace McAfee, Cass County Community Wellness Coordinator says, “Grow Another Row is truly a community effort, and the people who use and support our stands are the ones who help make this program successful, we want to hear from everyone, whether you visited a stand once or donated produce all summer long. Your feedback will help us continue growing and improving the program.”
As the outdoor growing season ends, some Grow Another Row stands will be placed into winter storage, while others will be relocated indoors to continue serving community members throughout the colder months. Updates on indoor stand locations will be shared through the Grow Another Row Cass County Facebook page.

The survey is brief, and all feedback is appreciated. Residents are also encouraged to share the survey with friends, family, and neighbors who may have participated in the program.
