BUTLER COUNTY, IOWA – U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) this week met with the McArthur family from Atlantic in his Washington, D.C office. The group discussed Service Academy nominations and the Department of Defense.
Camilla McArthur is entering the United States Naval Academy this summer following a nomination from Grassley.
“I was grateful for the opportunity to meet with the McArthur family and personally congratulate Camilla on being accepted to the United States Naval Academy. It was my honor to recommend her for the position, and I appreciate her commitment to serving our country. I nominate several young Iowans each year to attend our nation’s prestigious service academies. Our nation is well-served by patriotic young Iowans like Camilla,” Grassley said.
