Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird is hosting a presentation on fraud at the Exira Event Center on Thursday, October 1st at 3:00 pm. Bird will be joined by Consumer Protection Investigator Al Perales as they focus on current fraud schemes and explain how to protect yourself and your family.
Among the topics to be presented: common fraud schemes targeting Iowans, how to protect yourself and your personal and financial information and what to do if you have been a victim of fraud. They will provide resources available through the Attorney General’s office and will have a time for questions.
The event is free and open to the public.
