(Elk Horn, IA) – The Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton School District’s Board of Education held their regular, monthly meeting Monday evening. According to the meeting minutes, during their session, the Board approved:
- Expanding the girls basketball sharing agreement with Audubon for another four-years.
- Memorandums Of Understanding (MOU’s) with:
- Iowa Western Community College for concurrent enrollment
- Family Connections.
- A 28-E agreement with the City of Exira for the community weight room.
- The Board approved the purchase of a 2026 Suburban from Bob Brown Chevrolet, and,
- they approved the Math curriculum, as presented.
In other business, the Exira-EHK School Board agreed to move their June meeting to June 17th, at 6-p.m. And, they approved personnel changes, as follows:
- The resignations of Christina Baggett – Special Education; Mikayla Stockhaus – Music, and Emily Harris – Teacher.
The also approved the hiring of:
- Ashley Henneman – Part-time TAG Teacher/PT substitute teacher, and
- Bethany Johnston – Elementary Custodian.
